Two pedestrian deaths on route 22 west raises questions on pedestrian traffic

At 3:12 a.m. on Thursday, August 25th, two pedestrians were struck and killed by a Toyota Sienna. The fatal crash took place on Route 22 West, near the Bridgewater Diner. The two pedestrians, a 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were walking westbound on the left lane of the highway. It has yet to be determined if the driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident, but from the reports of the accident, it seems like the driver was sober.
