NJ School Board President in Middlesex County Has Been Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

On Tuesday, August 23rd, Phillip C. Heiney was accused of the possession and distribution of multiple child pornography videos. Heiney, 67, is the president of the Dunellen Board of Education in Middlesex County. The videos disturbingly showed footage of prepubescent teenage girls being sexually abused by adult males, according to the state Division of Criminal Justice. In addition to being accused of the possession of these videos, Heiney has also been accused of sharing the videos with others through peer-to-peer online services. Should all cyclists be required to wear helmets?

In the state of New Jersey, anyone riding a bicycle under the age of 17 is required to wear a helmet. Otherwise, adults are not required by law to wear helmets, so many don’t.
